Resource Allocation & Acceptable Usage Guidelines
Nexbyet Services LLP provides hosting services to thousands of users on shared servers. This Fair Use Policy (FUP) ensures that all our customers receive fast, reliable service. It specifically addresses "Unlimited" or "Unmetered" features to prevent abuse that could negatively impact server performance for other users.
Our "Unlimited" plans mean we do not set a hard limit on the amount of disk space or bandwidth you can use for the normal operation of a personal or small business website. However, "Unlimited" does not mean infinite. Your usage must fall within the bounds of a typical website and must not consume disproportionate server resources.
Shared hosting accounts are not dedicated servers. If your website code is unoptimized or traffic spikes excessively, you may hit resource limits:
An inode represents a single file or directory on the server. Most shared hosting plans are subject to a soft limit of 150,000 inodes and a hard limit of 250,000 inodes. Exceeding these limits will prevent new files from being created and may exclude your account from automated backups.
Hosting space is intended solely for files related directly to your website. It is strictly prohibited to use our servers as:
To prevent spam and protect our IP reputation, there is a limit of 250 outgoing emails per hour per domain. Utilizing your hosting account primarily as a mass-mailing server (e.g., for newsletters without using proper mailing list software like Mailchimp) violates this policy.
If an account exceeds the limits outlined in this FUP, our automated systems may temporarily throttle the account's resources. In cases of severe or repeated violations, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the account without prior notice. We will always attempt to communicate with you to help optimize your account or upgrade you to a VPS/Dedicated Server before taking drastic action.
